Is this a TrueType font, an OpenType font, or a Postscript Type 1 font? Some current or recent Microsoft Office apps are again having problems displaying the older Postscript Type 1 fonts. If you have a problem in word or excel, where you are told you have corrupt fonts, (they aren't, it's a microsoft issue), simply delete FontCacheTool from your machine, (use Apple F to find it) It's part of the office package, so won't affect anything else. What puzzles me is that I also have a titanium laptop with same operating system 10.4.4, system 9, and I installed Office:mac 2004 program in that computer but I have NO problems there. I launched one of Microsoft applications and every time it showed a corrupted font I went back to Font Book and disabled that font, but I have disabled almost all of my fonts.
